HOW TO CREATE A GLAM UPDO HAIRSTYLE

HOW TO CREATE A GLAM UPDO HAIRSTYLE
If you have a big event coming up, but can’t really afford to hire a stylist, then you should learn how to create a glam updo! There are many techniques and ways of putting one’s hair up into an astonishing nest of twists and curls, and many of these techniques can be done right in your own bedroom! All you need is a hair iron, a blow-dryer, hair product, and some bobby pins!
Hilary Duff – Glam Updo

After you get out of the shower, apply some anti-frizz product to your hair before blowing it dry. After the moisture has left you hair, you will want to use a hair iron to straighten your lovely locks. Then use the bobby pins to curl and pin small pieces of your hair to the back of your head, and quickly apply a small amount of hairspray. Then, release the pins, allowing the tresses in your hair to fall loose. You may then decide to either pull your hair into a tight pony tail, or leave some body in front.
Gretchen Rossi – Glam Updo

Depending on how classic you want your updo to appear, you can then braid the curled ponytail into the design of your choice. You may choose between a French twist, a double French twist, and a twist of your own creation! After braiding and pinning your hair to the back of your head, you might choose to try some shimmer spray. This will allow your hair to sparkle while simultaneously drawing attention to your class and creative new do!
